About Lidderdale
Lidderdale keeps you close to Carroll without being in it, which is what most buyers here are after. Your children would go to the Carroll district. Tell us you're watching Lidderdale and we'll let you know the moment something is available.
Lidderdale was the first Chicago Great Western station northeast of Carroll. It was laid out on the farm of John Sievers and named for William Lidderdale, an English shareholder of the railway. Its founding ended the nearby inland town of Kentner outright. By 1912 the county history recorded that nothing remained to mark the spot where Kentner's stores and blacksmith shop had stood.
Served by the Carroll Community School District.
